Fighting for Wild Birds

Josh Tatman is a dedicated upland bird hunter that lives in Wyoming and invests his time, money, and efforts into protecting wildlife habitat and upland game birds.  Josh and Travis take a deep dive into current conservation issues facing the iconic sage grouse, a bill in Wyoming’s legislature that allows privatized sage grouse farms, why sage grouse numbers keep dropping, habitat issues in western states, dirty politics (Travis soapbox), and small efforts each hunter can do to make a huge difference.  Travis & Josh also dig into the effects of increased hunting pressure nationwide, fire, herbicides, invasive grasses, when to stop shooting, why chukar are jerks, being prepared for danger, finding explosives in the field, watching dream covey explosions escape, planning bucket list western hunts, and so, so, so much more!
