Bailey Petersen is a wildlife biologist for Minnesota’s Department of Natural Resources.  Bailey shares fascinating ruffed grouse and woodcock biology, her role as a woodcock banding mentor, training dogs to safely find birds on nests, what biologists are learning about woodcock, grouse habitat restoration projects in the north woods, timber harvest vs non-timber harvest, ruffed grouse drumming counts, and how volunteers can help during a catch & release season.
